Course Outline:
The Certificate III in Aged Care course is suitable for persons that want
to work primarily in residential aged care facilities. These workers will
carry out activities to maintain personal care and/or other activities of
living for people in an aged care setting, carry out activities related to
an individualised plan and report directly to a supervisor and are not
responsible for other workers.
Students who undertake study of this course via distance will have 12 months in which to complete the course.

Please note from the 1st March 2007 all Aged Care Workers or volunteers are required to produce a current Police Check prior to commencing duties at an Aged Care facility. This also applies to students who are completing clinical work experience. The cost of this check is $52 and students will have to pay for this. H&H can provide the relevant application forms to you when you enrol.
