Community Projects

H&H has delivered work experience programmes through Government funded initiatives since 1994.  H&H offices at Kempsey and Port Macquarie currently provide Work For The Dole (WFD) projects and Community Work Placements (CWP) through the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.

These projects are specifically designed to benefit job seekers by engaging them in activities that provide them with work skills.  These skills are learnt in a structured training environment to facilitate a move from welfare into the paid work force.  The work experiences that are acquired on these activities are directly related to skills that have been identified by the Federal Government as "Skills In Demand".

Additionally, local communities also benefit from these activities.  All activities are either hosted or sponsored by not-for-profit community organisations. The work that is carried out by the job seekers directly benefits these local organisations and the community members that utilise their facilities and resources.
